The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's cross country team secured a fourth-place finish at the NCAA North Regional event held in Northfield, Minnesota. All five scoring runners from the Blugolds earned all-region honors, contributing to a commendable team performance.
UW-Eau Claire accumulated 118 points during the meet. UW-La Crosse emerged victorious with 63 points. The Blugolds' athletes who received all-region recognition included Keeley Behr, Molly Heidorn, Bella Hooker, Reagan Zimmerman, and Allison Weissinger. To earn this honor, runners had to place among the top 35 finishers.
Keeley Behr led the team by finishing ninth overall with a time of 22:20.3. Molly Heidorn followed in 22nd place, completing her run in 22:48.8. Bella Hooker was not far behind, finishing 24th with a time of 22:50.9. Reagan Zimmerman crossed the line in 28th place at 22:53.7, while Allison Weissinger completed the team's scoring effort by placing 35th with a time of 23:07.9.
The qualifiers for the NCAA Championships will be announced on Sunday, November 17, and the championships are scheduled for Saturday, November 23, in Terre Haute, Indiana.
