Whitetail Golf Course | UW-Eau Claire Blugolds
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's golf team concluded the Gustie Spring Invite in ninth place, playing over two days at the Emerald Greens Golf Course in Hastings, Minnesota. The Blugolds ended the tournament with a team score of 693, while finishing 58 strokes behind the winning team, Macalester.
On the first day, UW-Eau Claire scored 338, followed by 355 on the second day. Lilly Kaminski from Green Bay, Wisconsin, emerged as the top performer for the Blugolds, securing a tie for 14th place with a score of 21 over par. Kaminski completed Sunday with an 88.
Elizabeth Hermann, hailing from Macomb Township, Michigan, tied for 35th place with 29 over par, scoring an 89 on Sunday. Meanwhile, Bri Novak from Red Wing, Minnesota, was closely behind in a tie for 39th at 30 over par.
Riane Hayden of Mondovi, Wisconsin, showed improvement, tying for 54th place at 39 over par. She shaved off one stroke from her Saturday score. Gillian Johnson from Hayward, Wisconsin, tied for 57th at 42 over par, improving by eight strokes to record an 89 on Sunday compared to her previous day's score.
Up next for the Blugolds is the Take Back the Night Challenge scheduled for April 25-26 in Decatur, Illinois.
