The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's soccer team began their 2025 season with a loss to St. Olaf College, falling 4-0 in Northfield, Minnesota. The match marked the start of a five-game road trip for the Blugolds.

St. Olaf put pressure on UW-Eau Claire's defense early, taking seven shots on goal in the first half. Bella Jones, making her first start since November 2024, made six saves during that period. By halftime, the Blugolds were down by two goals.

In the second half, UW-Eau Claire managed to take five shots. Haley Von Rentzell recorded the team's only shot on goal. St. Olaf scored two additional goals after halftime. Jones played all 90 minutes and was credited with her first loss of the season.
