The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) has recognized Alex Kiebel of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire volleyball team as the volleyball setter of the week for September 15-21. The announcement was made following an anonymous vote by WIAC head coaches and Sports Information Directors.

Kiebel achieved significant milestones during the week, contributing to two victories for the Blugolds. On September 17, she recorded a career-high 37 assists in a match against the College of Saint Benedict. She surpassed this achievement just two days later, setting a new personal record with 58 assists as UW-Eau Claire defeated top-ranked UW-Whitewater.

Over nine sets played that week, Kiebel averaged 10.56 assists per set and 2.89 digs per set, helping her team secure wins against two teams listed in the AVCA Top-25 Coaches Poll.

"This recognition is a testament to Kiebel's performance on the court," stated WIAC officials in their announcement.
