Senator Julian Bradley, a Republican representing Wisconsin's 28th Senate district since 2021, recently posted several messages on social media addressing labor, education, and state school standards.
On September 1, 2025, Bradley marked Labor Day with a message recognizing the contributions of American workers: "Today we celebrate the hard work that built this country and the men and women who get the job done."
The following day, as schools reopened across Wisconsin, he extended greetings to students and educators: "Happy first day of school, everybody!" (September 2, 2025).
On September 3, Bradley addressed changes in state education policy regarding school ratings. He wrote: "The school year has officially kicked off and DPI’s new school ratings are here. No districts in WI will be rated at 1 star or below. Not because they've improved, but because DPI changed the scoring. WI needs standards, students deserve an education, & DPI’s giving them neither!"
Bradley succeeded Dave Craig in the state senate after his election in 2021. The Department of Public Instruction (DPI) is responsible for overseeing public education in Wisconsin.
