The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has announced the Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week for October 28 to November 3. Ian Pepple from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire was named men's wrestling athlete of the week. This decision was made by an anonymous vote of WIAC head coaches.

Pepple made his season debut at the Yellowjacket Open on November 2, where he won the 197-pound championship in the freshman/sophomore division. He achieved an undefeated record of 5-0, with four victories by fall. In his first-place match, Pepple pinned Triton Community College's Ghee Rachal in just 1:23. Rachal had ended last season ranked No. 6 in the NJCAA at 197 pounds.

In addition to his pins, Pepple secured a win through a major decision, defeating a Division II opponent from Minnesota State with a score of 15-4 in the semifinals.
