The UW-Eau Claire Women's Cross Country team participated in the St. Olaf Invitational on Saturday, marking their first road event of the season. With a total team score of 123 points, the Blugolds secured a third-place finish and placed seven individuals in the top 40.

Keeley Behr finished first for the team with a time of 23:03, securing seventh place overall. Other notable performances included Molly Heidorn with a time of 24:12, Ryann Wagner at 24:18, Allison Weissinger at 24:21, Libby Beirne, Kassie Bargender at 24:32, and Bella Hooker at 24:35. Head coach Dan Schwamberger commented on the team's performance, stating, "The plan for this race was to pace the first 3200 and focus on working with workout groups. They executed perfectly and really worked together well."

The Blugolds will compete next at the Blugold Invite at Whitetail Golf Course in Colfax, Wisconsin on Friday, October 4th. The men's 8k race is scheduled to start at 4:15 pm.
