On Sunday, April 27, former Chippewa Falls High School standout Morgan Wirtz’s current college team, the Saint Mary's Cardinals, won 5-0 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Hamline Pipers.

The game took place at Meredith Field. This was their second matchup against the Pipers this season.

It was the last Saint Mary's Cardinals’ game this season
