The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's basketball team secured a 66-56 victory over St. Olaf College on Tuesday at the Skoglund Athletic Center in Northfield, Minnesota. This win marks the Blugolds' second consecutive triumph.

Cade Hall, a senior from Mauston, Wisconsin, led the Blugolds with his third double-double of the season, contributing 18 points and 12 rebounds. The game saw both teams exchanging leads throughout most of the first half, ending in a tie at 29 points each at halftime. The close contest continued into the second half.

With just over eight minutes left in regulation and a narrow scoreline of 50-49, UW-Eau Claire managed to create distance from their opponents with a decisive 9-0 run. Michael Casper, another senior from Merrill, Wisconsin, played a crucial role during this period by scoring four points that helped establish a ten-point lead for the Blugolds with five minutes remaining.

St. Olaf was unable to recover from this momentum shift as they failed to reduce the deficit below seven points for the remainder of the game.

Andre Renta contributed significantly with 13 points and seven rebounds while Casper ended with 12 points and three assists. Carter Huschka added ten points to UW-Eau Claire's total tally. The Blugolds achieved a shooting percentage of 43% from the field and out-rebounded St. Olaf by five boards (33-28).

Looking ahead, UW-Eau Claire will face St. Norbert College on Saturday, November 30th at Mulva Family Fitness & Sports Center in De Pere with tip-off scheduled for 1 p.m.
