The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's basketball team held its year-end banquet on Saturday, where it announced the award winners for the 2023-24 season.
Kylie Mogen was honored as the Most Valuable Player. She led the team in rebounding and blocks while being third in scoring. Anna Koth received the Defensive Player of the Year award due to her performance, ranking second in steals and fourth in blocks. Lauren Meudt earned the title of Most Improved after a notable first full season with significant playtime. Kailey Tulachka was named Rookie of the Year, and Brianna Nelson received the Blugold Award.
The Blugolds concluded their final season at Zorn Arena with a record of 10-15. The team is set to transition to the Sonnentag Event Center next season.
