Senator Julian Bradley, a Republican representing Wisconsin's 28th Senate district since 2021, posted several messages on his social media account addressing recent political issues and ongoing flooding in his community.

On August 9, 2025, Bradley questioned Democratic strategies in a tweet: "Is the “Model for Democratic victory” no longer to defund the police or open the borders? C’mon, dems, just say the quiet parts out loud."

The following day, as severe weather affected his district, Bradley turned his attention to public safety. On August 10, he wrote: "Please join me in praying for those being impacted by the dangerous flooding and for our first responders. This is a difficult moment for our entire community, but we will get through this together." In a subsequent post at nearly the same time, he warned residents about worsening conditions: "Unfortunately, more rain may be on the way, and conditions could worsen. Avoid unnecessary trips. Many roads are unsafe, and emergency crews are doing all they can - but they’re stretched incredibly thin right now."

Bradley was elected to represent Wisconsin's 28th Senate district in 2021 after succeeding Dave Craig. As a state senator during emergencies such as local flooding events, he has used social media to communicate safety information and express support for first responders.
