There were 1,445 students enrolled in Somerset School District in the 2024-25 school year, 0.5% less than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2024-25 school year, 51.3% identified themselves as boys, 48.7% as girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 88.7% of the Somerset School District total enrollment.

Somerset School District covers three schools within St. Croix County, with its main office in Somerset.

Among the three schools in the district, Somerset Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 577 students in the 2024-25 school year.

Wisconsin had a student-to-teacher ratio of 14-to-1 in 2025, lower than the national average of 16-to-1, according to Public School Review.
