Sunday, March 23: Altoona High School standout Abby Smearman’s college team loses to Clarion Golden Eagles

On Sunday, March 23, former Altoona High School standout Abby Smearman’s current college team, the Seton Hill Griffins, lost 13-11 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Clarion Golden Eagles.

The game took place at SHU Softball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Golden Eagles this season.

The Griffins’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25 at 2 p.m. at Ruth Podbielski Field against IUP Crimson Hawks.
