The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) has named the Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week for March 31 to April 6. Megan Patterson from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's softball team has been honored as the softball position player of the week. The award was determined by a vote from WIAC head coaches.

Megan Patterson, hailing from Johnsburg, Illinois, delivered an impressive performance during four games at the Illinois Wesleyan University Invitational on April 5-6. She led her team’s offense with six hits over 11 at-bats, resulting in a .545 batting average. Patterson's contributions included a home run, a double, and four runs batted in. Her defensive play was also noteworthy, as she maintained a perfect fielding percentage.
