Whitetail Golf Course | UW-Eau Claire Blugolds
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's golf team began their spring season at the UW-La Crosse Spring Invitational, held at The Golf Club at Cedar Creek in Onalaska, Wisconsin. The Blugolds finished fifth among seven teams, shooting a combined score of 362. The host team, UW-La Crosse, won the event with a score of 343.
Elizabeth Hermann, a sophomore from Macomb Township, Michigan, led the Blugolds, tying for ninth place individually with a score of 87. Lilly Kaminski, a sophomore from Green Bay, Wisconsin, tied for 15th with a score of 90. Junior Bri Novak from Red Wing, Minnesota, was just behind, tying for 18th with a score of 91.
Gillian Johnson, a sophomore from Hayward, Wisconsin, completed the scoring quartet for the team, tying for 23rd with a score of 94. Freshman Riane Hayden from Mondovi, Wisconsin, also competed, shooting a 100 and tying for 36th, although her score did not count towards the team's total.
The Blugolds are scheduled to compete next at the Gustie Spring Invite in Hastings, Minnesota, on April 12-13.
