The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) has announced its Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week for January 20-26. Max Gutjahr from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire was named men's hockey athlete of the week. The decision was made by an anonymous vote of WIAC head coaches.

Gutjahr, hailing from Appleton, Wisconsin, played a key role in UW-Eau Claire's success against Northland College on January 24 and 25. He achieved two shutouts during these games. In the first match on January 24, Gutjahr made 15 saves to secure a 2-0 victory for the Blugolds. The following day, he recorded another shutout with 17 saves. These performances marked his third and fourth shutouts of the season.
