The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's men's basketball player, Carter Huschka, has been included in the Bevo Francis Award Top 100 Watch List by Small College Basketball. The announcement was made on Wednesday. This award is given annually to the player who demonstrates exceptional performance in small college basketball.

The selection process for the Bevo Francis Award starts with a list of 100 players, which is narrowed down to 50 in February, then to 25 in March, and finally a group of finalists is selected in April.

Huschka currently leads his team, the Blugolds, with an average of 17.6 points per game. He ranks second on his team for rebounding with an average of 7.7 per game and assists with 2.6 per game. In the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC), he is the third-leading scorer and fourth in rebounding average while also being among the top ten for assists per game.

In recognition of his performance this season, Huschka has been named to both the D3hoops.com Team of the Week and as a WIAC Kwik Trip Athlete of the Week. Last year, he earned a third-team all-region selection.

The next update for the Bevo Francis Award Watch List will be announced on February 15.
