Isaac Garside and Harry Roubidoux, seniors from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, are set to participate in The Dream Bowl on January 19 in Little Elm, Texas. The two athletes will join other standout players from small schools at this all-star football showcase.
Garside, a wide receiver, and Roubidoux, a quarterback, will play for the Patriots team at the event. Both have been key players for the Blugolds over their four-year college careers. Garside holds UW-Eau Claire's records for receptions with 195 and receiving yards with 2,386. He was recognized as a first-team All-WIAC selection in 2024.
Roubidoux graduated as the university's all-time leader in completions with 683 and ranks second in passing touchdowns (55) and passing yards (7,684). He received an honorable mention as an All-WIAC quarterback in 2024. Roubidoux has also signed a professional contract to play with the Porvoon Butchers in Finland for the upcoming season.
The Dream Bowl is scheduled to begin at noon on Sunday at Lobo Stadium. This event has seen many of its alumni progress to professional football careers both domestically and internationally.
