The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Carter Huschka has been named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week for December 16-January 5. The senior forward from Farmington, Minnesota, delivered strong performances in two games for the Blugolds during this period.

Huschka averaged a double-double over the two games, recording 21.5 points and 10 rebounds per game. Additionally, he contributed an average of 3.5 assists, 2.5 steals, and 2.5 blocks per contest. In a close victory against Carleton College on December 30, Huschka scored 18 points, secured seven rebounds, achieved three steals, and made two blocks in a game that ended with a score of 76-73. He then followed up with an impressive performance at UW-La Crosse on January 4, scoring 25 points along with collecting 13 rebounds, five assists, three blocks, and two steals in the WIAC-opening game. His shooting accuracy was notable as he shot 63% from the field across both games and played for nearly all available minutes—76 out of a possible 80.

This marks the second occasion that Huschka has been recognized on the D3hoops.com Team of the Week; he previously received this accolade during the final week of the previous season.
