The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) has named the Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week for December 9-15. Carter Huschka from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire was recognized as the men's basketball athlete of the week. The decision was made through an anonymous vote by WIAC head coaches.

In a game against the University of Northwestern on December 11, Huschka achieved his second double-double of the season. He scored 22 points, secured 14 rebounds, and provided five assists in a 76-58 victory. All these statistics were game highs, with his rebounds marking a season high. Additionally, he recorded two steals and had an impressive shooting performance, making nine out of thirteen attempts.

Huschka is noted as the second athlete from UW-Eau Claire to receive this accolade this season. It also marks the second consecutive week that a player from UW-Eau Claire has been honored with this award.
