Simpson Field | UW-Eau Claire Blugolds
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire has announced that three of its volleyball players have been named to the 2024 Academic All-District Volleyball teams. The selection was made by College Sports Communicators, and the honored athletes are Mya Cinnamo, a sophomore from Rosemount, Minnesota; Bailey Leeke, a junior from Lakeville, Minnesota; and Abby Stanwood, a junior from Excelsior, Minnesota. The announcement was made on Tuesday.
This marks the first time all three Blugolds have received this recognition. The Academic All-District Volleyball teams acknowledge student-athletes for their combined achievements in athletics and academics.
Bailey Leeke has also progressed to the national ballot as a finalist for Academic All-America honors. The results of this selection will be disclosed on January 14, 2025.
