The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's cross country team concluded its season at the 2024 NCAA Division III Championships in Terre Haute, Indiana. Keeley Behr, a junior from Aurora, Illinois, was the sole representative for the Blugolds and achieved a 72nd-place finish.
This marked Behr's third appearance at nationals, where she recorded her best performance to date. She completed the race in 22:09.4, which is noted as her best finish at the NCAA Championships.
Behr showed significant progress during the race. After starting strong, she advanced 37 positions between the 1K and 3K marks and gained an additional seven spots by the five-kilometer point.
In comparison with other runners from the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC), Behr posted the third-fastest time among conference participants.
The Massachusetts Institute of Technology claimed victory in the national title race.
