Notably, four Blugolds achieved victories with bonus points. Zach Sato, ranked fifth and hailing from Oswego, Illinois, won by a 21-2 technical fall at 149 pounds. Preston Carlisle from Cannon Falls, Minnesota, secured a 19-0 technical fall at 165 pounds. Niall Schoenfelder from Antioch, Illinois, who is top-ranked in his category, triumphed with an 11-2 major decision at 184 pounds.
