The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire football team concluded its season with a loss to UW-Whitewater, falling 48-7 at Carson Park. Despite the defeat, senior Isaac Garside achieved a personal milestone by becoming the Blugolds' all-time leader in career receiving yards during the team's Senior Day.

Garside recorded 11 receptions for 101 yards, surpassing David Goodman's previous record of 2,348 career receiving yards. Garside's career totals now stand at 195 catches and 2,386 yards, making him the school's leader in both categories.

UW-Whitewater dominated the game early on, scoring the first 34 points. The Blugolds had opportunities but failed to capitalize. They reached the Warhawks' 7-yard line trailing by three points in the second quarter but were intercepted. Two other promising drives also ended without points.

The Warhawks extended their lead with two touchdowns and a field goal in the second quarter, entering halftime ahead 20-0. They continued to build on their lead with four more rushing touchdowns in the second half.

For Eau Claire, Harry Roubidoux threw an 8-yard touchdown pass to Trey Fitzgerald early in the fourth quarter for their only score. Roubidoux completed 30 of his 38 passes for a total of 236 yards. Franko Williams contributed five receptions for 42 yards, while Yaach Chuol added four catches for another 40 yards.

On defense, Walker Korish led with five tackles and Brady Hoffner added four tackles along with a sack. The Blugolds honored their commitment by recognizing 30 seniors before the game.

With this loss, UW-Eau Claire ends its season with a record of two wins and eight losses.
