Blue Devil alumni, families, and supporters are set to gather at the University of Wisconsin-Stout from October 24 to 26 for homecoming celebrations. The event will feature traditional activities such as a downtown parade and a football game, alongside an open house showcasing the university's polytechnic advantage.

On Friday, October 25, attendees can enjoy Culver’s Custard Flavor of the Day at Menomonie Culver’s. Ten percent of sales from Blue Devil Food Cake will benefit the UW-Stout Student Emergency Fund.

The public is welcome to all events, though some require tickets or have limited space. Registration is available on the homecoming website.

Saturday's events kick off with a party at the Stout Clock Tower Plaza from 9:30 to 11 a.m., featuring face painting and games. The parade starts at 11 a.m., running through downtown and campus. A Community Open House follows from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., offering tours and exhibits in various university facilities.

Athletic events include the Blue Devil Glow Run on October 24, starting at Williams Stadium. Over the weekend, Blue Devil teams will compete in hockey against Saint Mary’s University on October 25, football against UW-Eau Claire on October 26, and women’s soccer against UW-Whitewater also on October 26.

The Athletics Hall of Fame will introduce new inductees during halftime at the football game. Inductees include Naomi De Lara, Daniel Drewek, Derek Hanson, Patrick Mengelkoch, Tim Nelson, Erin O’Connell Anderson, John Miller, and Layne Pitt. A banquet will be held that evening in Memorial Student Center Great Hall.

Alumni can attend special events such as an Alumni Awards Celebration on October 25 and Breakfast at the Buck on October 26. The awards ceremony will honor Lora Benrud with the Distinguished Alumni Award among others.

Student events themed "Stoutlantis" are organized by Blue Devil Productions throughout the week. Activities include a Culver’s Custard Social, Soapbox Derby race, Glow in the Dark Bingo, Transcendence Cabaret drag show, Chalking Competition, homecoming dance, banner competition, medallion hunt, and food drive for Helping Hand Food+ Pantry.
