The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's golf team competed at the UW-La Crosse Invite this weekend, securing 6th place out of 9 teams with a total score of 679 strokes.
Lilly Kaminski, a sophomore from Green Bay, Wisconsin, led the team with a total of 157 strokes, placing her at 6th overall. Senior Olivia McSorley from Elm Grove, Wisconsin, was the other Blugold to stay under +30 over par with an overall total of 171 strokes over the two rounds.
Next, the Blugolds will travel for the D3 Classic hosted by Gustavus Adolphus College on Saturday, September 21, and Sunday, September 22. The event will take place at the Emerald Greens Golf Course in Hastings, Minnesota. Tee times are scheduled for 1 p.m. on Saturday and 7:30 a.m. on Sunday.
