Twelve Blugolds named to CSC Academic All-District At-Large Teams

Twelve student-athletes from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District At-Large Teams for the 2023-24 season.

Six women and six men from UW-Eau Claire received this recognition. The honored female athletes include Cadie Ash (Sr., Waupaca, Wis.) from the women's golf team; Alexandria Shea (Jr., Kenosha, Wis./Indian Trail) and Alexie Romanelli (Jr., Naperville, Ill./Central) from the women's lacrosse team; Samantha Bandholz (Jr., Richfield, Wis./Slinger) and Sophie Rausch (Sr., Fergus Falls, Minn.) from the women's hockey team; and Harriet Toth (Jr., Regina, Saskatchewan/Martin) from the gymnastics team.

On the men's side, Tristan Massie (Sr., Hillsdale, Wis./Barron) and Connor Collins (Sr., Oshkosh, Wis./West) from the wrestling team; Nick Amtmann (Jr., Nashotah, Wis./Arrowhead) and Carson Brock (Sr., Onalaska, Wis./Holmen) from the men's golf squad; and Kyler Grundy (Jr., Pleasant Prairie, Wis./Indian Trail) and Willy Stauber (Sr., Duluth, Minn./Marshall) from the men's hockey team were recognized.

The CSC Academic All-District Men's and Women's At-Large teams honor top student-athletes in both competition and academics. The CSC Academic All-America program separately acknowledges at-large honorees across four divisions: NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
