Nov 8 General Election: Early Voting Information

As we move into fall, there are many ways for voters to participate in the general election this November including voting in person, early voting, and absentee voting.

In-Person early voting begins Tuesday, October 25th and ends on Friday, November 4th for each city and town. You can also request your absentee ballot today and return it via mail so it arrives on or before November 8th, or you can return it in-person (more details below on where to return it in person). You must requrest your absentee ballot by November 3rd. Go to myvote.wi to register to vote, request your absentee ballot, view who is on your ballot, or to find out your polling location. If you have any other questions about elections and voting, contact your local city clerk (a compete list of clerks for Eau Claire County is given below).

If you are unable to register to vote online, you can mail in the Voter Registration Application form (you cannot register by mail within 20 days of an election). You can register in-person until the Friday before the election, or you can register at the polling place on election day. Locations on where to register in-person and where to mail in forms are given.
