Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

Eggs & Issues: Tackling our Childcare Challenges

Date:

Friday, May 20, 2022

Time:

(7:00 AM - 8:30 AM) (CDT)

Description:

Child care has been increasingly cited as one of the most difficult workforce challenges for parents and employers in today's economy. At this edition of Eggs & Issues, we'll learn more about the local Chippewa Valley Child Care Task Force as it works to understand the scope of the problem, define the core issues, and identify potential innovations and policy changes needed to move towards solutions. Our guests include the Chair of the Task Force, Andy Neborak, Executive Director, United Way of the Greater Chippewa Valley; Renee Ernsting, Director of the Child Care Partnership at Western Dairyland; and Kimber Liedl, Business Engagement Director, Wisconsin Early Childhood Association.

Registration options:

In person at the Pablo Center: Registration includes a hot breakfast. (As of March 12, 2022, Pablo Center lifted its COVID-19 Visitor Protocols. Guests will no longer be required to show proof of negative test or proof of vaccination.)

OR
