City of Eau Claire recently issued the following announcement.
Event: Wintertime in the City

Time: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
The holiday season begins December 3 with the Clearwater Winter Parade from Eau Claire Parks, Recreation, and Forestry and Wintertime in the City from Downtown Eau Claire, Inc.
The fun starts at 6:30pm with the Clearwater Winter Parade stepping off from Grand Avenue and 1st Street. Fireworks will fill the sky and sparkling lights will fill the street as parade participants spread holiday cheer with floats and vehicles covered in lights and decorations in this years theme of "Once Upon A Storybook". Organizations, businesses, and groups who would like information about taking part in the parade can call the Recreation office at 715-839-5032.
On Saturday, December 4, join Downtown Eau Claire, Inc for their Haymarket Holiday with the Run Santa Run, photos with Santa, music in the plaza and hot chocolate or cider and S'mores in the plaza and on the downtown loop. There will be kids activities in the Pablo Center and Horsedrawn wagon rides. A schedule of events and more info can be found at Wintertime in the City (downtowneauclaire.org)
