City of Chippewa Falls issued the following announcement on Oct. 13
The City of Chippewa Falls, Public Utilities recently tested its nine Chippewa Falls Municipal water wells and two entry points for perfluoroalkyl and polyfluroalkyl substances (PFA's). Results indicated that PFA levels were well below the Department of Health Services (DHS) recommended health enforcement standards as well as the DHS hazard index of 1.0. This testing was done voluntarily by the City to ensure that safe drinking water is provided to its residents.
