Census Bureau: More women than men in Bloomer in 2019

Of the 3,497 people living in Bloomer in 2019, 57.5 percent (2,012) were women and 42.5 percent (1,485) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Chippewa Valley Times.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 1,088-to-927. In the 65 and over age range, there were 519 females and 249 males.
