Census Bureau: More women than men in Eau Claire in 2019

Of the 68,187 people living in Eau Claire in 2019, 51.6 percent (35,183) were women and 48.4 percent (33,004) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Chippewa Valley Times.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 23,344-to-22,595. In the 65 and over age range, there were 5,515 females and 4,023 males.
