Census Bureau: More women than men in Somerset in 2019

Of the 2,789 people living in Somerset in 2019, 51.3 percent (1,431) were women and 48.7 percent (1,358) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Chippewa Valley Times.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 839-to-813. In the 65 and over age range, there were 104 females and 81 males.
