6.2 percent of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire students played sports on university teams in 2017-2018

In 2017-2018, 6.2 percent of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire students participated in collegiate sports, according to data made available by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire has 10,888 undergraduate students, of which 62 percent are women and 38 percent are men, and a total student body of 11,604 students. Of these students, 374 men and 345 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.

This total does not include students playing intramural sports.

According to NCES, 8.7 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.

The sports at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with the most participants are track and field, indoor (122), track and field, outdoor (117) and football (105).
