90 percent of applicants to the University of Wisconsin-Stout were admitted for fall 2018

At the University of Wisconsin-Stout, 84 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 57 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Menomonie enrolled 8,770 students in fall 2018, including 7,577 in undergraduate and 1,193 in graduate programs, data shows. 7.2 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

62 percent of undergraduates are residents of Wisconsin, and 37 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (86 percent) and Asian (4 percent).

The school admitted 90 percent of the 2,873 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 54 percent enrolled.
