The UW-Eau Claire men's cross country team secured eighth place at the Blugold Invitational held in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Competing among 34 teams, the Blugolds finished with a total of 205 points.
Jack Hesse-Withbroe led the team, achieving a seventh-place individual finish with a time of 24:53.0. Troy Verstrate followed, placing 39th with a time of 25:56.1. Andrew Thaler came in 46th at 26:02.5, Ian Barnes was 59th at 26:25.1, and Cooper Feltz rounded out the top five for the Blugolds in 78th place with a time of 26:29.9.
Three runners from UW-Eau Claire placed within the top 50 competitors at the event.
