On Sunday, March 9, former Boyceville Middle/High School standout Walker Retz’s current college team, the St. Thomas Tommies, lost 15-14 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Austin Peay Governors.

The game took place at Joe Maynard Field at Raymond C. Hand Park. This was their fourth matchup against the Governors this season.

The Tommies’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 1 p.m. at Tal Anderson Field against Omaha Mavericks.
