On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Chippewa Falls High School standout Morgan Wirtz’s current college team, the Saint Mary's Cardinals, won 9-4 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Bethany Lutheran Vikings.

The game took place at Maverick All-Sports Dome. This was their second matchup against the Vikings this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Monday, March 3 at 2:15 p.m. at DiamondPlex Softball Complex against Dominican Stars.
