On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Chippewa Falls High School standout Morgan Wirtz’s current college team, the Saint Mary's Cardinals, won 25-1 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Minnesota Morris Cougars.

The game took place at Maverick All-Sports Dome. This was their first matchup against the Cougars this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 3:30 p.m. at Maverick All-Sports Dome against Luther Norse.
