On Saturday, Feb. 8, former Hudson High School standout Avery Johnson’s current college team, the Concordia Golden Bears, won 4-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Minnesota State Mavericks.

The game took place at Maverick All-Sports Dome. This was their second matchup against the Mavericks this season.

The Golden Bears’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 9:30 a.m. at Gahnstrom Field against Emporia State Hornets.
