On Wednesday, April 23, former Boyceville Middle/High School standout Walker Retz’s current college team, the St. Thomas Tommies, lost 15-5 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Iowa Hawkeyes.

The game took place at Duane Banks Field. This was their first matchup against the Hawkeyes this season.

The Tommies’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 25 at 3 p.m. at J. L. Johnson Stadium against Oral Roberts Golden Eagles.
