The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's tennis team secured a victory over the College of St. Scholastica with a score of 4-3. The match took place on Thursday at the John & Fay Menard YMCA Tennis Center.

The competition was closely fought and was ultimately decided in a decisive No. 1 singles match. However, UW-Eau Claire responded in singles with wins by Pablo Rincon, Billy Hughes, and Ethan Leeser.

With the overall score tied at 3-3, the outcome rested on the performance at the top singles match. Ethan Wurtzel delivered for the Blugolds, securing a victory in straight sets, 6-2, 7-6 (2), triumphing after a hard-fought tiebreak to clinch the meet for his team.
