Blake Wallen, a sophomore from Savage, Minnesota, representing Prior Lake, has achieved his second All-America honor during the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships. The event took place on Friday at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.
Wallen secured a 16th-place finish on the men's one-meter diving board, matching his previous performance on the three-meter board. His score of 418.80 earned him a spot among divers who finished ninth through 16th, thus qualifying for second team All-America honors.
This accomplishment marks Wallen as a two-time All-American after also competing in both diving categories at last year's national championships.
The NCAA Championships are set to conclude on Saturday, March 22. Molly Hosack from Cedarburg, Wisconsin will represent the Blugolds in the women's 1,650-yard freestyle event. The preliminaries are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. Eastern Time.
