The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Indoor Track & Field teams wrapped up their 2025 season at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in Rochester, N.Y., with notable performances. Five team members achieved All-American status, and Adam Strouf secured an individual national championship. The men's team finished in 15th place overall, while the women's team took 14th place.
Adam Strouf, a senior from Rice Lake, Wisconsin, excelled in the men's shot put event. He claimed first place with a personal best throw of 18.35 meters. Strouf initially led with his second throw of 18.16 meters and extended his lead on his fifth attempt to secure the championship title. This marks his first national championship after placing fourth in 2024.
Wes Keller, another senior from Richland Center, Wisconsin, earned All-American recognition by finishing fifth in the men's high jump with a personal best of 2.08 meters.
The women's 4x400 relay team also achieved All-American honors by tying a program record time of 3:49.94. The team consisted of Kylee Grabarski from Waunakee, Wisconsin; McKenzie Kruse from Spring Green, Wisconsin; Allyson Kakes from Two Rivers, Wisconsin; and Mya Cinnamo from Rosemount, Minnesota.
Laura Betrang received second-team All-America honors for her performance in the women's high jump, finishing in 12th place.
Looking ahead to the spring season, the Blugolds are preparing for outdoor competition starting April 5 at the Ashton May Invitational in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
