The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) has announced its Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week for March 3-9. Reegan Werner, a junior from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, was recognized as the women's lacrosse player of the week. This decision was made by an anonymous vote among WIAC head coaches.
Werner achieved program single-game records in a decisive 25-3 victory over Edgewood College on March 7. She scored nine goals, surpassing the previous school record of eight, and accumulated 12 points to exceed the prior best of 11. Additionally, Werner contributed two assists against Colorado College on March 9. Her performance for the week included nine goals, five assists, and a total of 14 points. Werner also recorded five ground balls and three draw controls.
