Meghan Dahlin and Ella Montgomery from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire are set to compete in the 2025 National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) National Championship. The announcement was made on Sunday, confirming their participation.
Both gymnasts will showcase their skills on the balance beam at the event later this month. Montgomery recently secured a third-place finish at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship/NCGA West Regional, scoring 9.775 and earning All-WIAC honors. Dahlin finished tied for 15th with a score of 9.625.
This competition marks Dahlin's second national appearance, having placed ninth on the beam in last year's championship. It will be Montgomery's first time competing at this level.
The Blugolds' gymnastics program has achieved 11 All-America honors on the balance beam throughout its history.
The national championship is scheduled for March 22 at Gustavus Adolphus College in Saint Peter, Minnesota, starting at 2 p.m. in the Lund Center.
