Blake Wallen from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire has qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships following his performance at the Region 1 Diving Championships held at Denison University. Wallen, a sophomore hailing from Savage, Minnesota, secured his spot by placing fourth in both the one-meter and three-meter diving events. The top six divers in each event earned qualification for nationals.

Wallen scored 442.60 points in the one-meter competition and 450.35 points in the three-meter competition. This marks his second appearance at the NCAA Championships; he competed last season as a freshman, finishing 21st on the one-meter board and 22nd on the three-meter board. His qualification ensures that for a third consecutive year, a diver from the Blugold men's team will compete at the national meet.

Ella Josephs was also present as a representative of the women's team but did not qualify for nationals. She placed 25th on the three-meter board with a score of 342.00 and 27th on the one-meter board with a score of 330.10.

The NCAA Championships are scheduled to take place from March 19-22 in Greensboro, North Carolina.
