The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) has recognized the outstanding performance of Carter Huschka from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire by naming him the men's basketball player of the week. This accolade was decided by an anonymous vote among WIAC head coaches for the period covering January 27 to February 2.
Huschka's notable performance occurred during a game against UW-River Falls on January 29, where he scored 24 points and secured eight rebounds. His contributions were pivotal in leading the Blugolds to a 71-58 victory. In addition to his scoring and rebounding, Huschka recorded two assists and two steals, shooting an impressive 9-of-14 from the field.
