The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) has announced the Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week for January 27 to February 2. University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Laura Bertrang was recognized as the women's field athlete of the week, chosen by a vote from WIAC head coaches.

Bertrang, a sophomore from New Ulm, Minnesota, achieved a significant milestone in the high jump at the Warren Bowlus Open on February 1. She set a new meet record with a jump of 5-7 1/4 (1.71 meters), marking it as the best performance by a WIAC jumper this season and the second-best in NCAA Division III.
